TORONTO, ON – Brought to you by contemporary African- Canadian event planning company African Tastemakers, the Annual Canada Day All White Affair is BACK in its Tenth year at the luxurious Vue Event Venue – 195 Galaxy Blvd. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 9p.m. – 3am. Setting off even more fireworks as the BIGGEST AFRICULTURAL PARTY OF THE SUMMER will be none other than Afrobeat rising superstar and Adidas Ghana Brand Ambassador Joey B performing live to commemorate the occasion! Previous headliners of this prestigious occasion includes John Dumelo, Bisa Kdei, Firekidd Steenie, DJ Whitebwoy just to name a few.
Joey B in town as part of the Canada 150 Celebrations, spearheaded by Toronto based special events management team, The African Tastemakers Entertainment Group. In celebration mood, he is also excited to be able to celebrate Ghana Republic Day which falls on the same day as Canada 150th Independence. Media and the public will have an opportunity to interview Joey B prior to the show.
But on the 30th of June, the real fun begins! Joey B will be hitting the stage to perform hit songs Tonga, Wow, Strawberry Ginger, U & Me, plus many more hits during The 10th Annual All White Affair that has a strict all white dress code in effect! This year’s star-studded night of luxury is unlike any other in our diverse city! It offers to Toronto’s culture seekers what has become a huge trend of reveling in the diversity in our great city! And even more important to organizers is that everyone in attendance will sport a white ribbon to support the end to violence and unity amongst communities.

Joey B born Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin is a talented and creative rapper, singer and songwriter from Ghana who makes music in five languages (English, Ga, Twi, Fante and Pidgin). The type of music he creates ranges across Afrobeats, Hiphop, RnB, House, Dancehall, Hiplife and Highlife. Music has been a part of him since his childhood;. Joey B is one of the many rising stars to set hearts racing amongst in the world of Afrobeats. He won the Best New Artiste of the Year award at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. His eclectic musical influence explains the unique style and approach to his songs.
